There is no price freeze because it was not a limit up situation y'day; thus the 2 days of back to back limit up does not apply. It means that today, the price can go limit up (2.60) and so can it tomorrow (3.38). It probably explains why the price of 2.00 was not limit up though traded. A limit situation would require buyers only at 2.00 with no sellers. This was not the case yesterday and trading at 2.00 continued right up to 5.00pm.

Ada juga saham yang Limit Up untuk dua hari berturut-turut, maka Bursa Malaysia terpaksa campur tangan. Pada hari ketiga, tiada sebarang kenaikan dibenarkan bagi harga saham yang dah Limit Up bagi dua hari berturut-turut.

Ianya merupakan ketetapan oleh Bursa Malaysia di bawah Chapter 8.13 (5) TRADING dan Trading Manual Chapter 4, Reference Price And Price Limits (4.3) Freezing of Price.

Ini bagi mengelakkan ‘panic buying’ untuk hari ketiga. Nak bagi market bertenang dulu.

We might not know how much they use to goreng on this stock. Always remember don't overspend of what you have in goreng stock.

Sorry on the query.... limit up procedures can be tricky. If not sure why not ask. The person asked if hit 2 will the freeze be removed so even if hit 2, the freeze ill still be lifted. That is my understanding

I am a professional daytrader and i day trade on this type of stocks all the time.

tomorrow upper limit = maximum amount 30% of today closing.
