Yes, you are right. depending on the reasons why share price fall a) hype created in media about expectations which could not be met - hence people liquidating positions b) Fiscal deficit has zoomed and though the government claims it would be about 6% it may actually turn out closer to 8-9% because the GDP itself has slowed down. c) The money to be borrowed to meet this deficit and infrastructure needs will put pressure on the banking sector and may force the regulator not to reduce interest rates. This may bring back inflation and be damaging to the economy.
Otherwise, no reason for the stock to raise in price if the budget is favorable to the business, especially it it stimulates business growth for the company. MKland is one to benefit.

asiapac is a v good counter.once the shoping mall in KK is completed by end of the year or early next year, they have 90000 sq ft of space to let out.the turnover will increase by 25%.Take a close look at it.

nickyeo55...I ve no idea as its earnings are unpredictable...Though they ve massive landbank but they are not innovative and aggressive to develop its landbank...Always remember that company's earnings and profit is the only dynamo tat can increase a share price...asset and landbank come secondary...So as long as its financial result is lacklustre, i dun see any catalyst for an upgrade and rerating for Mkland in the near term...Tan Sri Mustapha is the only man tat can influence Mkland's share price...
very happy with tis counter. Now is the waiting game. But just wonder why tis counter is so sloe moving unlike other counters.this has become one of the cheapest property counter with 60% discount.
yes, but it wont go far if solely base on dividend .. cause usually the company gives dividend will have more "consistent" share price .. my two cents ..
