Nothing to do with the above, it was due to a guy name , Victor chin. Was told he has disputed with exiting owner and dump all his share and profit taking. Remember ingens, utopia, TMS, all from his art works. He corner the stock earlier after taking over QL block . Then went for share split and bonus. Can you imagine how cheap his share, in order not to make authority suspicion , he hold the share until now and of coz he need to profit taking . Layhong can be good company but fall into wrong hand.
More stocks Will be affected as this smart Victor has been using layhong share to swap with other stock he was playing . So he will only making profit and let other holdings the stock for him. Most owners are so naive to believe him initially, after a while , 10/10 owner realize they were being cheated but it was too late. Maybe should not said cheated but not smart enough to believe a computer sale men.
The recent strengthening of the US dollars against the Ringgit have caused all imported raw and packing material particularly the feed cost to rise that will impact profitability going forward.
It seems like the management cant do anything with the cost
Debts are a little bit too high and the management decided to cont borrowing to expand their high cost business
Higher revenue with low margin and high finance cost
Not for short term or even long term - opportunity cost
for the past 5 years.. of all the QRs, august was the lowest profit.. so it should have been expected ler..
How come, this year everybody expect august QR sky rocket?.. maybe this cimoany got issue or mayb not, or mayb next month flourish.. i donno.. but 1 thing for sure.. .. latest QR normally lowest of the 4-QR.
i am not surprice if this week, Sabah announce chicken flu issue solved.. .. this layhoing chicken will fly back...huhu. .. unless i doono there are hidden terible issues which beyond of my lknowledge.
Profit before tax lower year-on-year mainly due to increase in feed cost, as a result of rising exchange rate.

************** I believe most people are angry for management's explanation over lower profit and treat investors like baby.
I believe that many eyes are on this counter and they also agree that current price are undervalued. But due to recent tremendous share price drop they are waiting for rebound to enter. I think it will continue to rebound for a few days.
While egg price is low in Q2, it has since increased a lot in Q3. Just compare the prices in supermarkets. Even though USD is strengthening, corn price has dropped a lot in Q3. Check the chart: https://markets.businessinsider.com/commodities/corn-price
With the poor QR out, the expectation of a poor QR has been met and there should be no more negative news moving forward. Ripe for strong rebound.

5 mysterious things that happen before Layhong's bad profit result that must be answered
1. Layhong share price starts to fall in middle of July (I was told this is the time the finance department or accountant complete the work of *close the books*). This mysteriously coincideces with the time Layhong's price starts to fall unstopablely. Is this coincidence or not coincidence?
2. I was told Layhong's top 30 disclosed shareholders held 75% of Layhong right before the selling (30 June 2018). The 25% remaining shareholders identity are unknown. Could the 25% shareholders be in the main camp that created the selloff right after the annual report that disclosed the top 30 disclosed shareholders on 30 June 2018 (Selling started on 10 July 2018)
3. Few directors purchase warrants at RM0.50 and sold the warrants at RM0.36 - RM0.40 in a short period of time. This is a strange transaction that have not been answer until now. UOB Bank mention in its report the director wish to raise funds. If the directors wish to raise funds, why buy more warrants at RM0.50 in the first place only to sell it after one week at a loss?
4. Simple spelling errors in Layhong's latest result announcement:
"For the liquid egg business, the commissioning of the equipment in the new plant in Johor is progreesingly as per schedule....."
"....joint venture Company with NH Food Ltd is also on time and is expected to be operational by the 4th quarter of the calender year 2018."
Is the finance manager or accountant preparing to be sack as he or she cannot even spell simple English correctly in an official document?
- progreesingly should be progressingly
- calender should be calendar
- no company called NH Food Ltd. It should be NH Foods Ltd. (Unprofessional accountant that disrespect the joint venture partner by spelling error)
or... is the spelling error done on purpose or an ulterior motive?
5. I was told by an auntie that "devils" have been selling and one day very bad karma will get back to them. Who are the "devils" she is refering to? Auntie refused to tell me
