Special dividend may not give more than 15 sen. Market sell down was due to previously over bought. Sun Con majority was contributed by Sunway own projects. Looks like the profit will not increase drastically.

special dividend will be between 22-25 cents.
the price nothing to do with special dividend.

the majority share holder purposely let the contra player dispose.
those in deep shit is the retailer as you can see the price drop a lot but volume is very low to justify.
those bought for free SUNCON share got SUNCON but bleed with their SUNWAY share holding now.

just wait for the price to stabilise and eventually it will rebound back.
now is don't know how low the price will drop.

usually after bonus issue, free warrant, or whatever proposal free after ex the price will drop.
just check on other stock after ex-date. this is normal.

on TA, it should start to rebound tomorrow or early next week. If drop further, it should not drop more than 5sen. The drop should be almost ended as TA.

Alliance DBS Research however downgraded Sunway to a hold call, as it sees limited upside on Sunway.

“We continue to like Sunway for its superior and unrivalled ‘build-own-operate’ model, but there is limited upside potential as the share price has rallied 13% since our February update,” the research house said.

I sold it on friday. Market is unstable now. Fitch may downgrade malaysia 's credit rating in june. If this happens, sure big drop in share mkt. Be careful.
