Even you replaced all the car in the world, it still encompasses about 25 to 30 percent of fuel usage only. It is rather minimal. Future outlook should be a mix of IC and EV cars.

A Toyota EV cost RM 170,000--215,000 Tax Free......A Perodua MyVi cost 45,000--55,000. It will 10--15 years for
Toyota EV to Gap MyVi price if Technology allows it. I think Gov has to Tax MyVi 200% to make EV competitive.
Battery Can replace Petrol is a Dream in 20years (maybe 30years using Hydrogen )

Dicky, EV technology is not something new. You should have somesort of understanding if you already expericed RC car's and the electric one's.
The technology of the EV is pretty much a mix combination of large arrays of lithium batteries surrounded by cooling system and driven by Invertor drives.
Just like the smaller ones, how long did the electric RC last.

Yeah.Nuclear or hydrogen most likely the technology that can have a better substitute to the fuel. Forsee it takes minimum 20years to 30years as well.

If you want the cheaper one's. I think Nissan have one model. But it is made using the Nickel cadmium battery.The battery is pretty similar to those used at the forklift or Aerial platforms.
The idea is, if you want to use EV, you must have patient on recharging on frequent basic + shorter driving range.
Unless you get an expensive one, then maybe the hassle will be minimised.

Janda sapura hutang banyak. Need banks to have haircut. Sudah so long pun takda news mau haircut berapa lagi. Bossku mau petronas to help pun takda news lagi. MoF mau rescue pun no news lagi. So apa so good about Janda Sapura now. Only good news dapat overseas project berbillion billion but internally issue belum settle lagi. Ada projects belum tentu ada plopit lagi until projects completed baru know ada plopit or not. Bukan sehari seminggu or sebulan punya projects.
