Very misleading article... the girl isn't cured... she still has the virus... she can still infect ppl... she may be immune other ppl are not... this is not a cure still... the trial is just to determine if getting treatment early enough will stop the worst effects of HIV... there is also an alternate theory that the girl has some new genetic immunity to the virus...

@cheeseburger: watch what you say about a cure... you may be giving some poor person false hope

Just to add to thradsah's comments above. The article's last 3rd para has mentioned Anthony Fauci said that HIV remission is "pretty good", but he HESITATED (DARE NOT) to say d teenager had been CURED. So in summary, conquering d HIV infection remains a distant aspiration (dream).
