What is market expected for UK election? Search from Google show exited con to win, and see whether can win majority seat. If labour win will cause market uncertainty. Although now is too early to say which party won. But current result show labour seats is higher, but market turn up as of now.

I am applying the investment principles (UK election/Brexit negotiation/EU markets) so often stated : market HATES uncertainty(s)!

Hung parliament means no party get more than half (650seats) i.e. working majority. The largest party (May Tories) can only form a MINORITY (& COALITION) government,with other parties all declaring so far not joining coalition and calling for her to go .......so this HUNG PARLIAMENT situation is SIMPLY is the WORST NIGHTMARE for UK waiting to negotiate with UNFRIENDLY EU leaders for Brexit....

So i expect 6-10 market days of investors/market reaction uncertainty....IF AT FIRST THIS INSTABILITY PERCEPTION DOES-NOT SINK IN on this FRIDAY/weekend, it will be worst next week...

My 1hr(60mins) candlecharts so far :

1. Sterlings/USD Shorted 1.28 6am: on track ,afternoon sudden dip 1.272 to 1.263, now rebound 1.273, my timing --wont close positions until next friday when i see 1.25 (300pips)

Then a 15.00 hr rebound to TM's 25917 (i somehow think reversal from this level is significant --unless and until it quickly do a higher high (than 25950) within next 2 days--the technical can hook down pretty quickly, and thus bearish divergence)

TM : I suspect what will transpire next 25 trading hrs/2-3 trading days shall be sideway trading up&down,above&below 25900, with some false /fail attempts to breach 25950. So after next wed if HSIF still fail to clear 25950 CONVINCINGLY - i see it as a bear trap for traders...at least for 6-10days.

China A50 maybe picking & due for a correction from today closing peak.

Gains in the Hang Seng Index are likely to come to a halt, at least in the short term, following the sell-off in technology stocks on Wall Street's Nasdaq last Friday.
But market analysts say there is no need to be too bearish as the market has already made significant gains since the start of the year.

The Hang Seng Index hit 23-month highs last week before slipping 0.1 percent to 26,030.29 points last Friday.

"The sell off in the US technology stocks last Friday will likely seal the top for the Hang Seng Index in the short term," said Alex Wong Kwok-ying, director of Ample Finance Group. "There is likely to be a drag on Tencent (0700)."

The Nasdaq Composite dropped 1.8 percent last Friday with investment bank Goldman Sachs releasing a report voicing concern over valuations of some tech giants. Shares of Apple Inc fell 3.9 percent and Facebook 3.3 percent.

"But there is no need to be too bearish at the moment - some of the capital's moved back to the 'old economy' stocks," said Wong. "The warning is on the valuation and not the fundamentals, and share prices of those tech giants have risen a lot since the start of the year."

Linus Yip Sheung-chi, First Shanghai Securities chief strategist, said: "There will be volatility in the Hong Kong stock market today and it is likely that Tencent will be affected by the sell-off in the US market, which in turn will affect the overall performance of the Hang Seng Index."

Yip said the market will be monitoring whether the Hang Seng Index can hold the mark at 25,8000 points. He also said the local technology, media and telecommunication sector is undergoing a major review, with investors trying to identify companies that hold leadership positions in their fields.

ONE Thing to hope now the pullback is straightforward - down fashion, and not erractic jump back(up) that cause a lot of market players to panic buyback...and thereby crowding market judgement of a good-overdue correction! Put it simple, HSI should do the everdyday down , so that simple-minded like us can see that it is going down straightforward. So that the small players dont get whiplash by the HSI zig-zagging up or down from here....
