China National Pharmaceutical Group Corp (SINOPHARM), a Chinese state-owned enterprise, announced on Wednesday that data from late-stage clinical trials for its Covid-19 vaccine are «BETTER THAN EXPECTED», Reuters reported.

In Morocco, Dr. Abdelhakim Yahyane, a member of the National Scientific Advisory Committee on Vaccination, told Yabiladi earier this week that vaccine trials in the country «have REACHED THE FINAL PHASE».

All vaccine that is produced only 90% effective is consider good already. Side effect is normal. Even all vaccine that has been approved for other sickness some of it 80%. 90 is super good already.

Pfizer vaccines to me remains very cautious..Thy tested 94 Healthy volunteers what about those unhealthy groups (infected covid n has medical history of says,high blood pressure,obese,hearth problems)..can they be protected by these vaccines.
X datas availble!.
Secondly, how long the vaccines will protect an individual..again no datas.Then age groups..children,adults,babies,veterans,girls,women,gender.
All these represent gamuts of uncertainties as they may not foresee,n risks unknowns severe or deaths could occurs.it will require years,years to monitor any side effects to warrant a safe passports.Some took 15 years to come with a safe, effective vaccines says,polio,ebola,chicken pox,meales zika.
Trump adminstration had been pushing hard to approve under EA.emerncy authorization thus piling pressures on FDA as cases of deaths, infections climbed exponentially! We all remains hopeful for a safe lasting vaccines.At this moment X guarantees it will work.

A Covid-19 vaccine isn’t a medicine, or a cure for the disease. A vaccine simply prevents infection. How long it remains effective remains to be seen.

Sorry to say but many are not using common sense. Or maybe common sense is not so common anymore.

When vaccine is approved and ready for the masses, there will be a renewed surge in the demand for medical disposable golves. See all the links posted below. Just see the pictures where even to handle the vaccines gloves are used. And its 2 x doses over an interval per person. The world population is about 8 billion. So just imagine the demand. Currently itself supply unable to meet demand with the cases over 54 million. What more for 8 billion X 2 doses.

I am still holding tooglove and careplus, hlt sold last week. It gv me profits. I nvr condemn glove counters. But how we argued about common sense or vaccine development is stiill in progress not safe, i pray we can have safe vaccine real soon. The impact on glove counter price is beyond our control. I think after the market digested and numb or "celebrated" vaccine success news, investors sense will realise glove co are still making high profits. No need so hard core of getting so defensive, what u can earn will never escape from u.

Covid-19 vaccine dampens sentiment on glove counters in morning trade
KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 16): Glove stocks were headed lower in Bursa Malaysia's morning trading session today due to the news flow of Covid-19 vaccine progress, which dampened sentiment on the counters.
As at the time of writing, glove stocks were among the top losers today. At 11.53am, Hartalega Holdings Bhd, being the second top loser, was down 4.29% or 66 sen at RM14.72, bringing its market capitalisation lower to RM50.54 billion. It saw some 2.78 million shares traded.
In the fourth place was Supermax Corp Bhd, which fell 5.24% or 46 sen to RM8.32, with a market value of RM22.72 billion.
More than seven months after the World Health Organization (WHO) declared the Covid-19 outbreak in China a “public health emergency of international concern”, the global economy continues to reel from the impact of the virus.
Meanwhile, Top Glove Corp Bhd, which bought back 8.94 million or 0.72% of its shares for RM69.9 million in the open market last Friday, dropped 3.98% or 31 sen to RM7.47, valuing the stock at RM61.47 billion. The counter was the seventh biggest loser as at the time of writing.
The smaller players were also not spared from the selling pressure. Kossan Rubber Industries Bhd lost 4.2% or 28 sen to RM6.38, Careplus Group Bhd fell 6.58% or 20 sen to RM2.84, and Comfort Gloves Bhd shed 4.71% or 19 sen to RM3.84.
The Healthcare Index was dragged down by the glove stocks, declining by 1.75% or 69.68 points to 3,921.47.
Last week, Pfizer and its German partner BioNTech announced that their experimental Covid-19 vaccine was more than 90% effective with no serious safety concerns based on initial trial results.
They also estimated that they can roll out up to 50 million doses this year for 25 million people and produce 1.3 billion doses in 2021.
