4) We encourage traders to set a Trailing Stop to protect their profits when riding on a winning trade.

Can someone enlighten if the following is correct? TQ
sheep: why people selling cliq wa at below 15sen? exercise price is 0.50sen. if we buy at 0.10 sen and exercise it, one share would have cost us 0.60. two sen lower than what funds are buying the mother. if there is no deal to buyiing assets, than lagi untung. we get back 0.65 each share correct me if i am wrong...
lctay81 - For Cliq, the support level is at 0.605/0.61. In the stock market, sometimes logic does not rule because of human emotions. This is the norm especially in a bearish market when all is doom and gloom. In Cliq's case, it could be sold below 15 sen for various reasons. The investor may not be aware of the 65 sen guarantee pay back and in a panic sell, sells below 15 sen. Or the investor may be aware but need to release funds to recoup cash from the market. Or the investor may not want to wait to see if they can secure a QA because of the very volatile economic climate and stock market sentiment. Or the investor do not want the hassle of conversion and anticipates the mother share to drop further.
These are just a handful of possible explanations. The stock market is traded by humans and humans have emotions. And emotions can defy logic sometimes. This is the reality and fact that we need to accept when trading the stock market. But over time, as emotions subside, logic will prevail and you will see the price move back up to its logical level unless there is a fundamental change in the company.
hi,profitman…thanks for above explaination….i saw that there's guarantee pay back, but does it really apply? For example,Samudra (7185) is PN17 company & if they delisted, are they paying back to shareholder?how does it apply ?Thanks again Profitman…by the way,Today KLCI looks great, but is it just be technical rebound or oversold position or foreign fund selling is reducing?many many thankssss
Dunknow - The guarantee payback only applies to SPAC companies. This is one of the condition for listing. The SPAC need to secure a QA within a specified time frame failing which they will need to refund accordingly. Non SPAC companies are governed by the Companies Act and it also depends on the company's board depending on the reason for the de-listing. If the company is going under, the shareholders will hardly get anything back.
Yes, the KLCI underwent a technical rebound today. It still needs to clear its resistance of 1716 before it can have any meaningful recovery.
P/S: I still owe you 1 reply to your earlier query.
haha,profitman....thanks for the answer.... don't worried about the other query, please do take your times... actually,I am very paiseh, asking so many question & you patiently & humbly guide us...appreciated so much!
Dunknow - good morning. Yup, today surely our stocks will surely gap up and our Klci too. Hope today whole day green, green , green all the way. Have a wonderful Thursday!!
Dunknow - I am fine, thank you. Last night I was low. My sugar level was only 2.8. Took a glass of glucose drink and chocolate. Recovered so fast after taking sweetened stuff. Health is better than wealth, agreed.
Dunknow - yeah. Mostly I am hypo. When hypo, you feel weak, at times you hallucinate and simply talk rubbish. However, I recover very fast after taking sweets or glucose. Once I was driving and at a junction, I was low and fainted in the car! Those behind kept horning and luckily they called the ambulance and I landed in hospital! Somebody stole my cash of $300.00, no idea who did that! When I was high, I also was warded at ICU in Gleneagles and luckily treated. Dr told me that I nearly died! These are occasions of highs and lows that I encounter! My diabetes also affectted my eyesight. Had to undergo laser treatment for both my eyes. Was treated by Dr. Lai, very famous optician and spent 23k to treat both eyes! May face other related problems affecting kidneys and heart, etc.
OMG,really sad & sorry to hear this…it's such a painful experience…I means, you gotta be strong to face all this, really strong….do share with us if you have anything to speak out, maybe we can't do much, but our ear if open big big to hear u,to share with you! Please do keep a pack of sweet in your pocket all the times & if not, don’t ever drive…while you might face some other problems, maybe you shld take some supplement (eg. olive oil/fish oil) especially for heart,kidney..it would help,at least!live life happily & kiss aways all the illness!
Dunknow - yes, I have been taking supplements for many years. Wow, dow up 421! Our index will also shoot and will be green whole day. Have a wonderful Friday.
Dunknow - Theoretically, if you have holding power for that long, 5yrs as per your example, the company should be able to weather any crash BUT only if its a good company with a good management team running it and there are also other criteria that you need to assess for such a long term investment. A lot also depends on your investment strategy. I agree to that opinion only for selected companies but at the same time, I am wary also of the fact that the modern world is in a very dynamic environment.
Things changes in a split second, be it politically or economically, while new technology and innovations are shortening products' life cycle. Exchange rates can undergo fluctuations and inflation can impact the time value of money. So, I will be very selective in the stocks that I want to stay invested that long. You may be looking primarily at defensive stocks. History has taught us that even the oldest, largest and well known company can go under and fold up. Another consideration to bear in mind is that to hold a stock for 5 years will be exposing us to 5 years of political and economic risk. For this reason alone, you need to be very selective in the company. I will discount speculative stocks from this long term holding list.
How well a company survive an economic crisis depends, among other factors, its management team, the business segment it is competing in and its financial strength. At the end of the day, it depends on your investment strategy, your personal assessment of the future economic outlook and your financial muscle. There is always a holding cost and an opportunity cost with such a long term investment.

Good morning, profitman....appreciate your view on this....current situation is so weak that which remind me of 1998 crash....still holding some stock, although has been either release capital or cut loss....it seem likes the bear is getting stronger each day, while the bull is resting like no tmr ; ( I read an articles stated that if we have the holding power for at least 5 years, it should be able weather any crash and it might b better as the company able to sustain during crash...do u agree in this, profitman bro?thanks
Here you are, profitman....taking up ur times, wonderful weekend to reply my query....appreciated much for ur generosity in sharing ur views....agreed in the changing environment, political and management. ....no one can guarantee. ...once I bought theXX company shares...and it was doing pretty well for 2 years and suddenly the management have changes...and it plunges almost 100% from its peak...and it is still downtrend...I already out w losses....that's I have the question for long term investment. ...thanks again profitman....have a wonderful weekend w ur love one...
Profitman -good morning. Very emphasis indeed on long term investment and holding power for 5 years. I personally have held on to stocks and to my dismay, they were eventually DELISTED giving me a 100% loss. Some of these were Megan, Flonics, Oilcorp, Transmile to name a few.
Good morning tsy88 Klci breach above 1732,as suggested by matrix, more upward can b expected...+ US green .. hope for meaningful trading today! Hihi...
Dunknow - good morning. Yeah, this rebound is very strong. They expect our Klci to head towards 1760 and finally 1780. Think we will have window dressing and now Christmas rally. Us nearly touching 18000. They expect Dow to hit 18,625 and have a major correction after that. Happy trading and hope you make lots of gains!!
dear tcb, I noticed tmclife has been increasing slowly and breakout today, may be it will go back up to the coming resistance, am I right? Need advise from you all and willing to learn more TA. thank u ya
