tsy88 - am watching football when your posting came into my mobile and I feel it is only my duty to respond as it has been and is still my principle to respond accordinlgy (a practice which I was doing during my working days).
I think I do not deserve the compliments that tm932 has showered on me. Although I have been in the market for more than 30 years I neither use FA or TA. I do it from observation based on all these years of experience. Almost every night I would screen through a few hundred counters trying to identify the stocks to watch for the following day. But then again TA and FA is indirectly involved as my selections are based on price/volume movements/trends (TA) and most of the time go for those which have some financial fundamentals (FA). If I can get 7 out of 10 correct , I will be more than satisfied. I am just a small player and contented with minor gains. Though I execute a lot of short term trades I do have quite a number of stocks which are based on FA and have been holding for years.
I used to have my own thread 932kaki which have attracted a lot of visitors (at that time the most popular thread I would say) and some have become part of my e-family. However I have closed it down since (due to forced circumstances) as a result of crude and indecent comments made by some people and also been littered with some garbage comments. Nonetheless I have no regrets in setting up 932kaki as I have made several e-friends in tm932, rchi, kcchongnz, scjm, profitman, newman - just to name a few. If you have the free time, you can read through my postings there.
Probably I would have offended some people with my "frank" comments and thus at times I am being flagged for no reasons.
After the closure of 932kaki, I now "tumpang" tj's itchy kaki thread to make some noises. The other threads I visit are
(a) this TCB thread where I highly respect and admire the effort of matrixcool and ProfitMan and others in generously guiding and sharing with their expert knowledge with others.
(b) postings made by my friend kcchongnz, truly a great FA sifu.
As my picks are not entirely based on TA, I feel it's not right to post them here but would be more appropriate in itchy kaki. Anyway there are just for watching and monitoring and do not guarantee success. At the end of the day, one has to study, evaluate, assess before deciding to trade.
Good night !

tsy88 - on Pasdec. I first spotted it about 2 weeks ago at 63 sen (normally before others do and when the engine is about/stating to move) and had made 2 rounds since. Granted I have sold too early but then I am contented with my small gains. If you were to ask me, I reckon that it is now in the selling mode as money seems to be flowing out. Probably there may be some corporate exercise for the price to shoot up but then at one point or another, there would bound to be a breather for profit taking. I reckon it may go up again once the selling subsides and the price stabilizes.

limayseng - Scientx:
Bullish after a period of consolidation. Broke out on 19/9 on high volume when it took out its resistance of 5.77/5.79. Strong support at 5.65. Support 2 is at 5.36. Resistance levels are at 6 and 6.03 respectively. It needs to clear its immediate resistance of 5.95 with increased volume before it can re-test its high of 6.03.

Really appreciate your unselfish works to help trader like me.
Not very clear about $0.45 mentioned by sephiroth, Sona will pay us $0.45 if the deal did not get through?
matrixcool, i need to learn to take losses but not easy lah because so heavy losses.
Thanks

lottolearn- good morning. If you don't mind allow me to comment.
If I am not mistaken, it is one of the conditions for SPACs to refund 90% of the IPO proceeds (if no QA is acquired after 3 years), which in the case of Sona is 45 sen ( 90% of 50 sen). See below :-
"A SPAC is essentially a shell company with no operations. As it has no assets prior to its initial public offering (IPO), its listing is also referred to as a ‘blank check IPO’, raising funds to acquire operating companies/businesses or assets, termed qualifying assets (QAs), which will then be folded into the company. Once it secures a QA, it ceases to be a SPAC and becomes a regular company.
Malaysian SPACs are given three years to secure a QA, or 90% of the IPO proceeds must be returned to investors "
In the entire process of stock trading, selling (even with gains) and especially if it is a cutting loss situation, is the most difficult part. But with discipline, such a practice can be cultivated over the years.
Happy trading.

Inwet88
Good morning. Glad to receive your attention and prompt reply.
I did come across your remarks re closure of your 932kaki due to forced circumstances. Normally after market closes or during lunch breakI would go through TCB and Itchykaki.
You do your research by screening and identifying potential stocks for following day's trade. For me, I go through Starbiz and do my own recording of stocks' low, high, volume, increase/decrease and analyse them. This can only be done the following day upon receiving copy of the Star thus not giving me ample time to assess and review. It is really time consuming and tedious but I still do it anyway. Please dont laugh at me but that is precisely what I have been doing to get an overview of stocks trend. Must sound so stupid to some!
FA coupled with TA helps tremendously in our decision making of buying/selling of stocks but one must also have the 'oomph' factor (luck). Ultimately, it all boils down to luck and timing especially so for short term traders.
Recently, trustme932 told me to buy Bhs. He indicated to me that you had bought at 1.56 and at the time he informed me, it was 1.58 snd I was reluctant to buy at higher level. It kept rising to its highest of 2.06! Another one was Camres. However, I did follow on Furnweb which I sold next day for a two cents gain after realising it would go ex on 12 June! I did consult TCB on this counter.
To be frank with you, I have actually not been able to make money from the stock market though I read from Itchykaki that people seem to be raking in handsome profit from comments of "huat arr"! Correct me if I am wrong in this instance. However, I do minimise my lossess as TCB have always emphasized on that point and rightly so!
Thus, I would be most obliged if you can afford me the opportunity of sharing your stock picks with me. You really have foresight/insight and a knack of selecting stocks trending up. I am fully aware that buy/sell decision solely rests on me and no one can be blamed for that matter!
In the event if you are thinking otherwise, please ignore what I
have suggested. Can fully understand your refusal.
Lastly, may I compliment you, like Profitman on your proficiency in English. Despite reading only one lenghthy reply from you, I know immediately that you have a good grasp of the language and can vouch for that!
Sorry for the late reply as I was watching Germany/Ghana match. Just got up. Another major upset.
Happy trading....
Regards.

Inwest88- Thanks for info on Pasdec. REALLY APPRECIATED! As usual, had bought on high end. Had wanted to buy on 3rd day it spiked but it gapped up too much and didnt want to chase. Finally bought when Keith, an investment banker sent via Whats App that Pasdec is an undervalued counter plus giving high dividend of 4 cents! Do not intend to pick up on high end, so wil key in to sell over weekend.

Inwest88: Great comments and finally I get what the talk is all about regarding the 45 sen per share cash backing.
I err-ed by assuming it was Sona's cash per share (which according to latest qtr report is only about 38.5 sen) LOL! What was I thinking then! Duh!
However, the more I thought about it, the more I felt I needed to give some 3 sen opinion.
This cash back thingy is only worth its salt IF Sona doesn't make any acquisition within 3 years...
this IS a good rule.
It's like some form of insurance for the investor...
But 2 things.
1. If I invest/trade in Sona now at say 50 sen, I will still lose 5 sen in this 'insurance' scheme if Sona does not make any acquisition.
And I have to wait 3 long years.... ie after July 2017 to get money back.
Is this a great selling point for me to invest in the stock?
My answer is NO.
2. The legal signing of the SPA is supposed to be on 26 June (ie next week). Once signed, the acquisition will be in place and the 45 sen cash backing is GONE.
Therefor, I am confused with the constant hoo-ha over this 45 sen thingy.
Now the stock and the chart.
https://farm4.staticflickr.com/3867/14290363129_bfd457c881_b.jpg
I wrote the following comments on 11 June:
The two black candles that whacked Sona out of shape happened after Sona made its maiden acquisition announcement.
Well, we don't have to be an expert but that happened next clearly showed what the market thinks of the deal.
Long black candles done with huge volume.
Not a good sign.
IF there is prospect, the stock needs to DIGEST this sell down first.
Hence, being patient is simply the prudent way to go.
My 3 sen view.
Today?
I still think the market is digesting that earlier sell down.
Is it waiting for the signing of the SPA on the 26th to go up?
Well I won't try bottom fishing this one.
Maybe a breakout of the current resistance is the most logical way to go.
Yes, pay a few cents more (for insurance LOL!) but at least I know the market and I will be thinking as one.
Cheers.... my long 3 sen.

Inwest88 - Fyi, had bought another 2 stocks on high end. Pelikan entered at 1.55 and Kub bought at 0.565. Both stocks doesnt seem to be making any headway. Trustme932 told me Kub has 3 cents more to go and to sell at 0.59 which I did key in but didnt reach that level. As for Pelikan, probably will have to take loss on that as well.

inwest88 --Many thanks for you help to lottolearn on Sona about the $0.45 pay back scheme. We are glad you visit our thread and really appreciate your valuable and knowledgable inputs. So share more with us on the stocks you pick as TCB eventhough is more on TA but we welcome any comments on FA or whatever methods any traders deem fit. Our main focus is to make money in the stock market. I always believe TA is only a guide and traders may not make money base solely on TA, a Trading Plan is needed to win in a long run.
Boon3-- Thanks for your valuable inputs on Sona as well, so much informations that worth digesting.
Lottolearn, I think you have all the facts on Sona by now and hopefully you can make a right decision. Like what inwest88 says, selling is the most difficult part of trading because of our Greed and Fear especially one that involves taking losses.
Maybe you can think out of the box : instead of concentrating on losses why not think if you can release your capital and that capital can be used to buy some uptrending stocks and in that way you can slowly make back what you lose in Sona. Then this is only my suggestion.
We are happy so many experience traders visit us and help to guide those new traders in this thread.
Happy Trading..

Dear TCB - Noticed that when stocks retrace from their highs, there are 2 scenarios.
1) goes down with high volume
2) down with low volume.
The 1st scenario is very predictable and apparennt i.e. facing enormous selling pressure! What does the 2nd scenario tell us?
Kindly comment n advise. Thanks.

tsy88 - Just woke up minutes ago. Normally I retire to bed at about 11 pm but these days have been staying up at infrequent hours of the night due to the World Cup, thus taking the opportunity to chip in my comments. As I have mentioned earlier, TCB is not the right thread for me to post my stock picks as I gather most of the people here use TA whereas I do not. But since both matrixcool and Profitman have given their "consent" I would be more than glad to do so.
We are all here to make some money from the market and thus sharing my thoughts with others is not an issue at all. It is hoped that for those who want to invest in stocks highlighted by others would do an assessment (and like what TCB always advocates, have an exit plan) before jumping in.
For me my picks are made known early in the morning or if it is during trading time before or immediately after I have entered (sometimes it could have jumped by several bits by the time I post, depending on the momentum of the stock). It is only fair to be transparent. As I have said, my picks are solely based on my observation of the price/volume trends and movements. However there is some similarity with TCB in one criteria, in that it is approaching or has penetrated new highs which means it has overcome the stale bulls and broken past the overhang stage. The setback is that since I do not use TA, I do not set target prices and will sell (most of the time too early) if I feel comfortable with the gains or that I see the stock losing momentum. I am a conservative
player and contented with small gains. As I like to go around looking for food (since I am retired) the time I spend on trading is normally the first one or two hours after the opening bell and in the late afternoon.
To answer your question about those comments of "huat arr" in itchy kaki, I guess it's just an expression of happiness and satisfaction when the prices go up. Except for tj who I reckon is a big and intelligent trader, the rest are just the common players (no offence if I am wrong)
TCB often mentions that TA is just a guide and those armed with some knowledge of TA and FA would surely be in a better position to execute a "buy or sell" decision. A lot of newbies would just jump into a counter upon seeing comments like buy buy buy, will limit up tomorrow, will be reaching this price soon etc etc. That indeed is very risky. It is also not a good thing for one to tell everyone (even if it is true) that he / she has made so much from this or that counter as newbies can be easily be influenced and lured into thinking that stock trading is such a simple and effortless way to get rich.
I do agree that luck also is a contributing factor, albeit a minor one, in stock trading / investment as compared to being a major factor in gaming.
Going out for lunch now. will respond to others when I am back.

lottolearn- matrix indeed has done well with his latest advice and I can't agree with him more.
" Lottolearn, I think you have all the facts on Sona by now and hopefully you can make a right decision.
Or you can think it in another way. In stock trading do not fall in love with a counter. If the need to cut loss, just do it and use the money to recover from others. Do not expect to make money from each and every counter you invest. That's almost impossible if I have to say. Take for example - you are in Genting with a capital of RM 1,000 and you decide to play Black Jack for just 10 games at RM 100 per bet per game. Surely you do not expect to you win every game. But as long as you are able to win, say 7 and lose 3, you will be be the ultimate winner. Winning 7 and losing 3 means you end up RM 400 winnings after 10 games which represents a return of 40% over your initial capital of RM 1,000. So forget those 3 games that you have lost. On the same note forget those counters which you have taken a loss. Of course this Genting issue is just an example. Given the odds which are in Genting's favor, the chances of winning 7 out of 10 is on the low side unless Lady Luck is with you.

matrixcool: you are welcome.
I feel the 45 cash backing is a non-issue at this current moment of time.
For the investor, it will only be activated if and if SONA makes NO acquisition after 3 LONG years. But what's the point of it now. The investors buying at 50 sen now, will still lose 5 sen if and when this happens, ie Sona makes no acquisition. ;)
For the traders. All eyes on the signing of the SPA next week. And if the SPA is signed, it means SONA would have made an acquisition, which renders the 45 sen thingy irrelevant.

tsy88 - just my views (no TA involved) on Pelikan and KUB. Probably I have traded once on the former but never on the latter as both do not have the financials to meet my criteria. And KUB is politically linked counter, something I do not fancy.
Pelikan - guess you entered on 18 Jun at the price of 1.56 when it went up with some volume (which to me is not convincing enough) and thus there is a lack of follow through the next two days. Again as I do not use TA I am not able to give a cut loss price (perhaps TCB can assist)but I feel the weak sellers are in. I would probably have sold the next day at between 1.50 to 1.52. Having said that it all depends on whether you want to hold on for a rebound (which is quite likely based previous occasions and provided the market is still intact) or move your funds to other counters.
KUB - probably you made your move on Thursday or Friday but although it came off it's high, I see that the selling is not that drastic and possibly stands a good chance of the price coming up again (but must be accompanied by volume).
Would suggest TCB to give you their chart readings.

The positive momentum and upward trend is still intact. It managed to breakout of the bollinger band on the 27th May and the symmetrical triangle on the 13 June and currently is trading at the upper bollinger band.Need to observe the momentum and volume next week and if it manage to break out of the bollinger band at the 1st resistance of 2.01 than it might scale higher to the next resistance of 2.435.
Immediate supports are at 1.945 and 1.91.
A stop loss can be considered if 1.855 is violated.
Happy trading.

Resumption of uptrend is expected once it breaks the upper bollinger band which usually will followed by a continuation of an uptrend.Bonia's fundamental is excellent with a fair value of 6.20. If you are looking for bottom fishing, look out for momentum with volume and a reversal signal. Its bearish and down trending at the moment. On a weekly chart the 100MA @ 4.85 is a strong support. Daily chart it shows weakness once the 20MA was broken since 19 May and it starts to retrace. Do take into consideration the price adjustment for the dividend of 0.075 paid and it manage to test 5.25 before closing at 5.00.
Resistance 5.22;5.30 & 5.41.
If 4.85 is violated can be consider a stop loss.

Hi limayseng,
KSENG:
This stock is under consolidation with sideways movement between $6.90 and $7.19. Currently, seems to have formed a support base at $6.92. If it manages to break above $7.19 with volume, it will need to fill up the gap down formed on 24/04 with the resistance at $7.38 before it can subsequently test the next resistance at $7.54.
If it breaks below $6.92, the immediate support would be at $6.86 and $6.66 respectively.
Happy trading.

KNM:
Bro Matrix has posted on KNM before and I will add further to it as follows:
Posted by matrixcool > Jun 18, 2014 10:33 PM
18/06/14
KNM – Trading in uptrend channel with Range $0.79 to $0.865 (Higher Low and Higher High and these values keep moving higher). Formed an Engulfing Bull yesterday, but today closed at $0.835 which is indecisive whether it is the last engulfing top. Will clear if can’t break above $0.845 soon.
22/06/14:
It is still on uptrend movement and managed to break above $0.845 & $0.865 on 19/06. The next resistance will be at $0.89 and $0.925 respectively. If it fails to break above $0.89 soon, it may goes into consolidation. If it retraces, it will find immediate support at $0.82 and $0.775 respectively.
Stop loss if $0.74 is violated.
Happy trading.

Counters to watch for in the coming week Censof ( also in TA practitioner trustme932's radar) Fiamma, Greenyb, Syscorp and Pjbumi.
Note : This is not a call to buy as I have yet to take up any position in all the stocks mentioned. As TA is not used, no buying in / selling / cutting loss prices are mentioned. My decision to enter depends on several factors like overall market sentiment/activity and price/volume movements.

Inwest88 -
Thanks for your reply to my long winded reqest on your stocks selecion.
Yes, our main purpose is to make money from the stock market. It is so nice of you to list down the stocks to watch in TCB. Will be on the lookout now every day for this. Once again, thanks a lot for sharing. Indeed, it's very kind of you!
Personally, I dont like Censof even though Trustme932 has on numerous occassions highlighted this counter to me. To me, Censof looks to be on downtrend even though they have successfully acquired stake in Dynex. Sysorp is really a laggard stock and for the past 2 trading days has seen encouraging volume. Greenby holding steady lately. Fiamma and Pjbumi, potential to move higher.
Among the above listed stocks, I fancy Fiamma and Greenby. My views only.
Happy trading....

Inwest88 - trustme932 has been been emphasizing on Amprop and Mulpha lately. I bought Amprop at 1.18 but disposed at 1.21 as it was trading range bound. Has set new high and probably will go up again after forced selling which was on Friday. Mulpha is another laggard, yet to wake up! Seems there is a rumour that it may be privatised, so likelihood of price shooting. Please take note and observe.

Hi farue,
MKLand:
Bro Profitman has posted on MKLand before on two different dates and I will add further to it as follows:
Posted by profitman > May 21, 2014 09:51 AM
Reading as at 19/5/2014:
Currently under correction since hitting 3 yr high of 0.56. Have retraced about 61% from commencement of current uptrend started 15/4. Now trading in a rectangle from 5/5, with the resistance line at 0.505 and the support line at 0.48. Support of 0.48 seems to be holding well temporarily. A break above 0.505 with volume will see it re-test the high of 0.56 whereas a break below the support line will see it trend towards 0.45.
Immediate support is at 0.475 and 0.45 respectively. Resistance = 0.56.
As at 21/5 9:50am:
Broken support line. Will test next 0.45 support level.
*********
22/06/14:
It is still under consolidation with range movement between $0.455 and $0.505. After the resistance at $0.485 was broken on 16/06, this level has turned into immediate support where it was tested on last Friday (20/06) and sustained. A break above $0.505 with volume would signal breakout (buy signal) and it will try to move to the next resistance at $0.54 and $0.56 respectively.
If the price breaks below $0.48, it may retraces back to the next support level at $0.455. Stop loss if $0.43 is violated with volume.
Happy trading.

If you were to see my posting in itch kaki to tm932, I also do not fancy Censof but would still pay attention since it's also in tm932's radar - no harm paying attention.
And if you were to see my other postings, I also heard a few years back that Mulpha could be taken private. I have been holding this stock for at laest 6 - 7 years. I am still having Amprop as it may move further as the date for the exercise approaches.

tsy88 - I guess probably you have no time to monitor and thus pre key-in your sell prices for Pelikan and KUB. If possible try to have a look at the market situation first. But then again it's very hard to predict the trend at times. As long as you are comfortable with the sell prices, so be it.

Inwest88 - trustme just called me again to buy Censof tomorrow. Told him was not keen but he sounded very confident and offered to share with me.

Inwest88 - I monitor prices for the whole day either at remiscier's place or at home via my tablet. Reason I key in first is, I will get priority over others on queue if I pre-key in. But if has chance of strong rebound, then I will cancel and key in at higher level. Will observe and act accordingly. Can do online instantly.

Inwest88 - Yeah, agree with you that market is so unpredictable. Can suddenly make a U-turn and correct when you least expect it! Have been caught off guard so many times in this situation.

Ivory is testing the resistance at 0.64 and it has strong support at 0.615. Worth to take a look on this before it surge.

tsy88 - that's where years of experience comes in because it helps to gauge/indicate whether the stock is losing momentum and the selling starting.

"Knowledge without discipline is dangerous, discipline without knowledge has little value" 1) We are here to help out any I3 members of their stock TA. If you need help on any stock chart just address us as “Dear TCB..” 2) We encourage traders to buy stocks with a trading plan. Before you buy please have a Stop Loss in case the stocks go against you. 3) We encourage traders to cultivate a winning habit, that is to lock in profits often when the opportunity arises. Be focused. We are here with one purpose only, that is to make money, never let a winning trade become a losing trade. 4) We encourage traders to set a Trailing Stop to protect their profits when riding on a winning trade. 5) We encourage other traders that have TA knowledge to participate and help out others on TA. In this way we all can learn together. 6) We will never recommend any stock in this thread as Buying and Selling is solely your own decision and your own risk. 7) We may post the stocks that we are interested in, together with a TA reading on it for the purpose of sharing. These TA readings are to cultivate habits of 'Discipline' and 'Plan' before trading .
