If the Awantec write-off their trade receivables RM182.798 in 2022 then the big losses coming!!!
Refer page 135 Annual Report 2021. As at 30 June 2021, trade receivables amounted to approximately RM187.62 million (included an amount of RM182.798 million owing by the Government of Malaysia (“GOM”) in relation to the development of SKIN solution). The details of trade receivables and its credit risks are disclosed in Note 51.1(b)(iii) to the financial statements.

The GOM has got no money. Zafrul will need to provide some sort of a contingency funding in the event of an unfavourable outcome in his next buget before we can assume this is going to be resolved in the very near future. More likely we will have a new PM, Finance Minister, Attorney General as well as a new Chief Justice before we get any closer. That is how slow Malaysia gets things done. Still nobody in jail for all the corruptions after GE14

Time for the management to start thinking of how to quickly expediate these legal proceedings before the next meeting on 20 July. Maybe cry poor and a prospect of delisting with the overhang of PN17. All the guilty party who cause the pin to be pulled on this SKIN project have since not in control, TM, MOO, Guan Eng, PKR. Should be easy to get a solution, no obstruction. Come to think of it the original SKIN project would have been up and running by now, instead of Malaysia still running with an outdated immigration system and probably need to spend millions of $$$ for an update soon.

So did they have a meeting to try and work it out? By the wording of the latest released statement it sounds like there was a meeting and it needed to continue further at a later date. ("........has been fixed for further case management......."). The previous released statement dated 19th July was worded differently ("............has been rescheduled to.......") which seems to indicate there was no meeting (postpone). It would be good if they can be more specific.
