yeah so smart that even before getting the new shares, stock price has dropped on par with right issue price, earning zero margin or loss. expect further drop when stock supply increased by 50% on tomorrow. Unfortunately those who exercised thinking to make a quick buck will loss money for their own greed.
why sudden drop? because the company was repurchasing the stocks to keep the price higher than 50 cent during the exercise period, hence the notice for recent share repurchase.
now that people have transferred their hard earned money to the sinking ship, the management has stopped repurchasing to keep the share above 50 cent.
i bet no one can win a lawsuit for own ignorance. so stay poor uptrending, you earned it.

New to Muhibbah, but subscribed to RI. Just want to point out that as announced in Bursa the directors forked out many millions to subscribe the RI. I will just hold.

yes but the dividend that going to receive by muhibaah will not appear as 'accounting profit' , it will jz 'cash inflow' to muhibah.

the dividend receive and the recent rights issue will be used for working capital and to reduce the huge borrowings. If you look at their balance sheet you will get a better idea. They may declare a token amount just to keep everyone happy.

Unless Muhibah passed back some of the dividen it is ok.
If no,it is just Muhibah invesment is fruiting.
Favco give RM 196 millions as dividen to Muhibah but Favco themselve make how much to share the profit?
Long term could be ok.

In regards to Favco's dividend of 85 cents, Muhibbah as largest shareholders of Favco is a win situation for existing shareholders/ppl as we can deemed this is one of the way of raising fund for the company in replacement of issuing new share/private placement which would have direct effects of causing shares dilutions. My opinion only.

FFavco declares lucrative dividends, one after another, bcos most off the money goes to their pockets (besides Muhhibah) ..... Muhhibah SH don't get any (bcos more retailers in this ctr), in contrast, asked money from SH through RI (while not compelling for cash), share price dipped to breach RI price, this would even hurt those subscribed for RI ......
not only manipulate market price but enhance with company events .... price will only goes up when retailers give up ......

For those of you investing in Muhibbah, what's the bright spot? For me, it was the recovery of Cambodia airport after pandemic. Of course, Favelle was doing good too and will remain ok. To me, Favelle has become a cash cow for Muhibbah (squeeze dry already) and no longer attractive. Even with pandemic recovery, think again if Cambodia airport is gonna recovered. The scam in Cambodia is not only for Malaysian but basically all chinese people. Would you visit Cambodia again as tourists? The scam in Cambodia getting serious because China forbids their national to visit Cambodia for gambling/scam related issues.
