They make good profit and revenue before FamilyMart came to malaysia. Problem with myNews is they always follow people. Last time says will beat 711 in their own game by setting up shops nearby 711. When FM came to Malaysia, they tried to copy by setting up their FPC, nobody goes to mynews and buy ice cream and bread, so they lose lots of money in FPC.

When an audit company such as KPMG wants to flag a company as big as Serba, they have many protocol and checks to go thru before they report to authorities. Means many directors and big boss in KPMG will discuss and investigate and all came to the same conclusion, something fishy is going on in Serba.

Just88, if I am not mistaken, 90% of their profit is from Hydro, which explains the low valuation because of the concentration and investor view this as risky. but the reward will be how they use the profit and diversify into other business.

as for their earnings from hydro, it is 90% in USD and 10% in Laos Kip. All paid by Cambodia gov. As the contract mentioned, all money must be paid to DSH, no amount can be utilized by EDL for other reason than to pay DSH first. This means if Laos goes kaput, DSH will still receive the payment as the cambodian gov guarantees it.

Keyman188, oil price has no effect on yinson's profit, maybe on new projects but not profit. yinson's profit is contract based, fixed at a certain rate regardless of oil price. just look at 2020 when oil price dipped to USD10+.... steady profit.
