Today, FPGroup closed with a Marubozu candle which is considered Bullish - high probability of a breakout from current short-term sideways trend and continue its uptrend journey...

Like some of the technology stocks which were negatively affected by the trade war, ELSOFT's business were affected too. That's why its revenue and profit dropped significantly, thus resulted the drop in its stock price from 1.50 on 19 November 2018 to a low of 0.765 on 26 June 2019 (dropped almost 50%) before it rebounded from there to today's level of 0.96 (still a distance from the 1.50 level registered on 19 November 2018).

The recent correction from 1.08 level on 23rd October 2019 was mainly due to the poor results of some technology stocks like Vitrox, Unisem and Gtronics - poor market sentiment on semiconductor industry.

In fact, the softer business performance should be an expected outcome but still investors reacted negatively on these stocks.

ELSOFT business performance were poorer compared to the preceding year but we can see from the last quarterly report that business has began to improve compared to its previous quarter. Things are getting better...the worst may be over?

In investment, we need to look forward to capture the best opportunity ahead of others - not to chase high later.

I believe in the integrity and capabilities of the management team of ELSOLF. Note that ELSOFT is one of companies in KLSE that achieved the highest profit margin. Once business environment improves*, this company should do very well - watch out!

* Latest!!! China says it's reached a consensus in principle with the US during this week's trade talks

No resistant at 1.02, should be smooth sailing...

I believe it did failes because the stock was up from 0.735 on 3 October to 1.02 on 14 October non-stop.
Therefore, it has to rest and retrace.

Now JAKS is well rested and ready to breakout!

I repost this. this is just my personal opinion and hear from my Penang friend (no buy or sell call) Their biggest customer Broadcom (70-80% of the revenue) have stop buying from FoundPac due to the quality issue. He say the management are negotiating with Broadcom top management. It have been 3weeks now, this will affect the revenue sharply. My friend say expect a qr of 30-40% drop. Why I believe is because he even tell me their CEO is in US negotiating with the management. So I try to call the company and ask to talk with their CEO and they replied me their CEO is in US. Do u think got so coincide?

Yes, awareness creation will help but the "product" must be ready for customer to see as well, instead of merely estimations & projections.

Therefore, JAKS need to show results first, no matter what, otherwise all the huha and push will not be sustainable. The process takes time. So, still got to wait and be patient....

Agree, If you are a medium to long term investor and can hold on tp this stock for some time.

For those short-term traders, they have to be careful if they want to trade this counter after it has surged quite a bit recently.
Remember that all stocks cannot go up and up without RETRACEMENT.
For stock that go up too fast, the fall may be probably as fast too.

Different strategy for different type of traders/investors.

When good stock in consolidation/sideways (people are not interested and those trapped holder will become frustrated and sell), it is most ideal to wait for the breakout and earn real good money = buy low, sell high

Many people were trapped in this stock for some time and will sell when price goes up... very normal psychology to feel relief after got trapped for so long.

So, KRONO's operators will be happy to accumulate the shares thrown out by retailers at current price so that they do not have to carry them along (clearing these retailers will ease the upward movements later so that there will be lesser selling pressure) at higher price.

Base on my chart, Krono may breakout from the triangle and end its sideways trend. Watchout!!!

Based on chart always reach 0.6++ then fall

Stock price move in waves...

After hitting recent high at 0.665 from 0.56 (low), OCK retraced to 0.58 (making a higher low - uptrend intact) before closing at 0.590 on Friday.
Expect it to go up further today.

OCK is managing some of Maxis tower so should be a key beneficiaries. Just surprised that the share price is not moving up north but going down instead...

- JV turnaround from loss into profit as export sales has begun. Achieve 4k MT/month next year (7k MT/month in 2021). Assuming RM11 per 250g (1 pack weight) works out to 16mil packs sold per month (Revenue of RM176mil per month). For Lay Hong's 49% interest would be RM86mil revenue per month (3% profit margin) would be RM2.6mil/month (RM7.8mil per financial quarter) additional JV profit......

Generally bright prospect, but directors were reluctant to share more on the Japan JV when asked....

Short-term retracement already hit 61.8% Fibonacci and up ticked with yesterday's candle. It is possible to further retrace to 0.345 but quite unlikely. I believe it probably will continue its uptrend direction.

THE company managing the Penang Smart Parking (PSP) system, HeiTech Padu Berhad, has installed 1,031 sensors as of Sept 20 this year.

HeiTech Padu has managed to install the sensors before the deadline set by Penang Local Government, Housing, Town and Country Planning Committee chairman Jagdeep Singh Deo.

The PSP system was launched on Aug 18 this year, and there were some issues that needed to be addressed.

“The first was that the PSP application on the Google Play was not available for Android users. The issue was solved on Aug 22.

“The second issue was the installation of smart sensors at the council parking lots in Penang. The company had to install 997 sensors, but they only managed to put up 30 at that time.

“It was because the stocks were stranded in Hong Kong. The airport in Hong Kong was closed due to the unrest and the stocks had to be transported to Malaysia by sea. A deadline was given to HeiTech Padu to complete the installation of the remaining 967 sensors.

“The company had to install the remaining 967 sensors by Sept 24. I am happy that the company managed to meet the deadline given.

“In fact, they (the company) have installed an additional 34 sensors, making it a total of 1,031 sensors as of Sept 20,” Jagdeep told a press conference in Bishop Street today.

The sensors were installed at 655 Penang Island City Council (MBPP) normal parking lots and 12 parking lots for the disabled on the Penang island.

The sensors were also put up at 352 Seberang Perai City Council (MBSP) normal parking lots, eight parking lots for the disabled and four parking lots for pregnant women on the Penang mainland.

Jagdeep said the installation of about 36,000 sensors (24,000 on the mainland and 12,000 on the island) was scheduled to complete in July next year (2020).

“The estimated cost to implement PSP system was RM30 million.

“The PSP system is a private finance initiative (PFI). The company will bear the cost of implementing and operating the system throughout a period of seven years, according to the contract.

“The Penang government and local councils (MBPP and MPSP) will not bear any operational or capital expenditure (capex) during the period.

“The company will take a portion of the parking collection, while the other portions are taken by the local councils,” he said.

Jagdeep said a workshop would be held tomorrow (Sept 25) between the state, HeiTech Padu, the local councils, Penang Development Corporations and other stakeholders to draw out a plan to meet the July 2020 deadline.

“We will also discuss the locations that are to be installed and the timeline. I have said that I’ll be conducting a periodical check to get updates on the progress so that the public can be notified,” he said.

Jagdeep said the company would be setting up a booth at several locations to promote the PSP system to the public.

“The booth will be set up at Komtar, City Hall at the Esplanade, Setia SPICE Arena and MBSP building in Bandar Perda from tomorrow (Sept 25) to Sept 30.

“The company will also be setting up an exhibition booth at Gurney Paragon Mall from Sept 27 to 29 during the Penang International Green Conference and Exhibition 2019; and at Mydin Wholesale Hypermarket in Kepala Batas on Oct 5 during the Digital Seberang Perai,” he said.

Also present were MBPP mayor Datuk Yew Tung Seang and HeiTech Padu Berhad executive vice-president Abdul Halim Md Lassim.

The public can now use the find parking feature on the PSP app to view the availability of parking lots and their approximate locations.

The app user just has to tap on the marker and the app will navigate the user to the preferred location via Google Maps or Waze.
