（吉隆坡25日讯）D&O Green Technologies Bhd收益创史上新高，提振股价刷新纪录。

D&O今早上涨46仙或13.81%，至3.79令吉，成为十大上升股之一。

截至早上11时04分，该股回落至3.75令吉，扬42仙或12.61%。

该集团昨日宣布，截至2020年12月31日第四季净利剧增119%至3032万令吉，上财年同季为1385万令吉，得益于汽车业提高需求与复苏。

季度营业额也上升39%至2亿957万令吉，一年前为1亿5047万令吉。

全年净利弹升42%至4965万令吉，上财年报3487万令吉，营业额则增加14%至5亿7578万令吉，之前为5亿431万令吉。

D&O的收益超出分析界预期，促使分析员调高其收益预测。

大众投资研究分析员Chong Hoe Leong今日在报告中表示，D&O的2020财年核心收益超出其与其他券商预期，分别达134%及125%。

他表示，业绩走强主要受到全球汽车销售强劲复苏的推动，加上越来越多人把汽车LED用于外部照明和信息娱乐系统。

“有鉴于此，我们把2021财年至2023财年收益预测大幅度调高50%至100%。”

Chong维持给予该股的“超越大市”评级，并把目标价上调至5.09令吉（之前为1.88令吉）。

KUALA LUMPUR (Feb 19): All eyes are on Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin's "MyDigital — the Malaysia Digital Economy Blueprint" announcement slated for 9am today, which is expected to unveil the government's 5G roll-out plan.

The prime minister previously indicated, during his New Year's Eve address on Dec 31, 2020, that the government's national digital policy would have a particular focus on the development of the 5G network system.

A month before that, Communications and Multimedia Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Abdullah said the ministry remained committed to rolling out 5G technology by the end of 2022 or early 2023, as stated in the National Digital Network (Jendela) plan that falls under the 12th Malaysia Plan.

Saifuddin said the implementation of 5G would take into account connectivity, the people's readiness to receive the network, as well as regulatory and industry preparedness.

Six months prior to that, in May, the ministry awarded Telekom Malaysia Bhd, Celcom Axiata Bhd and units from Maxis Bhd and DiGi.Com Bhd the 700 megahertz (MHz) band of 5G network, which surprised many in the industry who were expecting an open tender process to take place.

However, the decision was subsequently cancelled, with Saifuddin citing "technical issues, laws and the need to follow a clear process" as the reason behind the cancellation.

On Wednesday, Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Datuk Seri Mustapa Mohamed said among the targets set in the blueprint were for every student to be able to access online learning, and to enhance the people's digital literacy and digital usage for micro, small and medium businesses.

Mustapa also said the initiatives to be introduced were prepared on an existing base albeit with a new emphasis. "This blueprint will have three phases — short, medium and long (10 years). Further details however will be known this Friday," he said, according to a Bernama report.

Underpinning the surge in its share price was the three-for-one bonus issue.

KUALA LUMPUR: Milux Corporation Bhd’s share price surged to a fresh record high of RM3.03 on Wednesday as more investors jumped on the bandwagon following the proposed three-for-one bonus issue.

At 10.51am, it was up 29 sen to RM2.92. There were 1.35 million shares done at prices ranging from RM2.62 to RM3.03.

The FBM KLCI was up 7.39 points or 0.47% to 1,582.70. Turnover was 1.95 billion shares valued at RM1.48bil. The broader market was mixed with 474 gainers, 409 losers and 468 counters unchanged.

Last week, Milux proposed a bonus issue of up to 176.29 million shares on the basis of three bonus shares for every one share held.

The group said upon completion of the bonus issue, Milux’s issued share capital would rise to 235.06 million shares, from the current 58.76 million shares.

In the latest development on Tuesday, the additional listing application forthe proposed bonus issue was submitted to Bursa Securities.

Its unit Milux Sales & Service Sdn Bhd, which offers a wide variety of gas, kitchen and electrical appliances.

It had proposed to diversify the existing core business of Milux and its subsidiaries to include provision of support services for the oil and gas industry and property-related services.

Milux expects this diversification will boost the income of the group, besides seeking new business opportunities.

Boldly predict that it will exceed 4 next Monday.
