Parkson business strong qtrs are Qtr 1, 2 and 4. Qtr 3 is the weakest as there is not much activity in Malaysia, so, China has to assist. If Parkson can still do well, then the business has definitely turnaround, cheers.

provider OpenSys (M) Berhad (OpenSys, the Group, 傲奔系统（马）有限公司, BloombergOPEN:MK) achieved a 14.7% growth in revenue for the second quarter ended on 30 June 2023
(2Q2023), amounting to RM20.92 million compared to RM18.24 million in the corresponding
quarter of the previous year. This growth was primarily attributed to a strong performance from
Solutions and Services business segment which registered an increase of 9.3% in 2Q2023, reaching
RM17.23 million from RM15.76 million in 2Q2022. Revenue from hardware sales surged 48.6% from
RM2.48 million to RM3.69 million, spurred by increase in sales of CRMs.
Correspondingly, PAT expanded by 7.6% to RM3.18 million in 2Q2023, attributed to the increased
demand for maintenance services driven by the higher number of CRMs entering maintenance
mode annually and robust performance in hardware sales of CRMs.
For the financial period ended 30 June 2023 (6M2023), the Group achieved a higher revenue of
RM38.34 million, representing an increase of 7.7% compared to RM35.58 million in the
corresponding financial period ended 30 June 2022 (6M2022). The revenue growth was largely
contributed by the Software Solutions and Services segment which marked an increase of 10.5% to
RM33.80 million. This improvement was largely attributed to a heightened demand for CRM
maintenance services. However, hardware sales experienced a decline of 9.2% from RM5.00 million
to RM4.53 million in 6M2023. This decline was primarily a result of delays in hardware installations
from certain banking customers, which were postponed to the latter half of the year. In tandem
with the top line growth, the Group reported a PAT amounting to RM5.92 million in 6M2023. This
represents a 9.3% increase from the RM5.42 million recorded in the previous year.
