KUALA LUMPUR: Bumi Armada Bhd's jointly controlled entity SP Armada oil Exploration Private Limited (SPAOEPL) has received notification from India's state-owned oil firm, Oil and Natural Gas Corp Ltd (ONGC), about its intention to extend the charter hire of the Armada Sterling II floating, production, storage and offloading (FPSO) vessel for one year.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the group said the value of the contract extension is about US$43mil (RM198.65mil).

Under the original contract signed between ONGC and SPAOEPL on 13 March 2013, Armada Sterling II FPSO was chartered by ONGC to operate in the ONGC Cluster-7 field located about 210km off the west coast of Mumbai, India, under a nine-year firm time-charter, with seven annual extension options.

The original nine-year firm time-charter will expire on March 7, 2024.

Just selling 2 piece of Industrial Property at Bkt Jelutong Shah Alam already net STAR 13% stake in MATANG and another RM4.12m cash. Looks like the same corporate move will be repeated on most of STAR Media's property across the control. So the cash hoard will just be increasing and simultaneous STAR Media will have a significant stake in Matang. Matang got alot of land with development potential in Johor. Star's entry into Matang is at just 8.09 cents a share.

Haha. Buying Bluechips or penney stocks is still a gamble. In the last rights issue, the 2 biggest shareholders also put in about RM10 million. Ageson PA with a conversion price of RM0.12 is still trading at 0.05 to 0.1 cents. Buying the mother share at 4 or 4.5 cents is a good bet at current risk/reward profile. If PA is at 0.05 cents seller, than it different.

Even a O&G contractor gets a 10 to 15% profit margin on contract value. Hibiscus management is nonsense

Hibiscus is a oil producing co which owns it oil fields. Unlike the oil majors, they spend very little on exploration or development of oil field. With huge capital invested in its business; the results look very disappointing. Sept 2022 to Dec 2022 oil price is at about USD80+. Look at the net Profilt as a percentage of revenue.
Sept to dec 2022. Revenue is 713M. Net Profil is 70.47M
June 2022 to Sept 2022. Revenue is 604.8M. Net Profit is 135.3M
Despite increase in oil production, the % of net profit is down from 20% to less than 10%.
Most Oil majors got above 30% of revenue as net profit

Looi Hooi Keat had been buying since 11 Feb 2022 at $0.817. Obviously someone still buying at below 45cents with plenty of Q sell but not throwing to buyers. IPO at $1+ in Dec 2021. You think really got so many sellers. Mr Loo Hooi Keat now owns about 39% of the shares. Add the amount own by other major shareholders and also the company buy back (Treasury Shares); and I think a sharp rebound to above $0.60 cents is easily achievable in a short time frame
