@monetary I can answer this. In Amazon US, first they'll charge a commission of 20-25%.

Secondly is the FBA. Most, I'd say 90% of goods selling in Amazon are under "FBA", fulfilment by Amazon.

They'll charge you storage, packing and logistic fee and we as a seller need to factor into the selling price as well.

Lastly, Amazon offers a full refund whenever customers "don't like it" and based on statistics, average 10% of the sales in Amazon will be refunded back to customers and they don't need to return the goods back to Amazon. And we as the seller, need to factor in the 10% cost as well.
