Maxis Bhd announced that its unit will make a final settlement of RM73 million in relation to additional assessments with penalties imposed by the Inland Revenue Board, two years after it was given the assessments for the 2016-2020 period of RM477 million. Maxis to pay RM73 mil to resolve tax assessments with Inland Revenue Board

I am expecting the price of the Maxis will go up by 10%-12% in a few weeks, I am targeting around RM3.88. Buyat the existing price and the stop loss should be set somewhere around RM3.33.

EPF account 3 activation and withdrawal would increase the domestic consumer spending with significant multiplier effects to the Malaysia economy. This would benefit Maxis directly as more customers signing up for maxis zerolution/ postpaid/ family plan in order to get new 5G compatible smartphone at minimal upfront cost. Cheers!

One more thing… after data center site visiting, I realized that all data centers required ports from telcos. For instance, Maxis offers a service called Data Center Connect with a service level availability (SLA) of up to 99.999% via multiple diverse fiber routes. Without which, data center is useless without telco services.
