1974-1990
Joined KPMG to begin his articleship in 1974. In 1978 he was transferred to KPMG New York for a couple of years. He was admitted as a partner in 1985 and was responsible for the Malaysian management consultancy practice.

1990-1992
He was appointed the Vice President of the Samling Group in Sarawak. He was responsible for the down stream manufacturing activities of the Group.

1992-1994
He joined Renong Group as Managing Director of Renong Oversea Corporation. He spearheaded and looked after all of the Group's investment overseas.

1994-2000
He served on the Board of Peremba-Kentz Ltd

2001-2002
He was appointed the Managing Director of Cement Industries of Malaysia Berhad.

2002-Present
He joined the Malton Group. Mr. Lee is currently the Managing Director of Malton Berhad. He is also the Executive Director of Paracorp Berhad.
