Working Experience
YB Dato' Khalid started his career in the civil service in 1972 as an Administrative Trainee Officer at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Kuala Lumpur. He held various positions in the public service.
YB Dato' Khalid is an ex-officio member of the State Executive Council of Penang and also the Head of Penang State Civil Servic.
Presently, he is the Director-General of Implementation Co-ordination Unit. He was the Penang State Secretary before his appointment to the present position.
