She is currently Senior Independent Director of PETRONAS Chemicals Group Berhad and Cycle & Carriage Bintang Bhd and Independent Director of PETRONAS Dagangan Berhad. She is also the Chairman of the Audit Committee of PETRONAS Chemicals Group Berhad, Cycle & Carriage Bintang Bhd and PETRONAS Dagangan Berhad. Vimala Menon also served as a Board member of Jardine Cycle & Carriage Limited (1994 to 2003), PT Astra International TBK, Indonesia (2000 to 2003) and WorldFish, an international non-profit research organisation (2008-2014). She was previously Director of Finance and Corporate Affairs at Proton Holdings (2008 to 2009) and Executive Director of Finance and Corporate Services at EON Bhd (1994 to 2001).
