Working Experience
He was attached to Bristol Myers & Company Ltd. in England as an Accountant in 1968.  He then left and joined Malaysian Tobacco Company Berhad as an Accountant in 1969.  From 1974 to 1999 he was attached to UMW Holdings Bhd where he held various management positions in the group before being promoted to the position of an Executive Director in 1988.  Upon retirement in 1999, he joined a consultancy firm providing outplacement and career management consultancy services in Malaysia. He also serves on the Board of Chin Teck Plantations Berhad, Negri Sembilan Oil Palms Berhad and Liberty Insurance Berhad
