He holds a Bachelor of Science (Hon) in Economics & Accounting from the University of Bristol, United Kingdom. He is a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA), Fellow of the Association of the Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and Certified Financial Planner of the Financial Planning Association of Malaysia (FPAM).

He has 19 years of working experience in finance & accounting, business planning, corporate finance, corporate restructuring, treasury management, tax planning, auditing, banking relationship management, company secretarial, human resources and legal.

Prior to joining Dijaya Corporation Berhad, he served as Chief Financial Officer of Destination Resorts and Hotels Sdn Bhd (DRH) since February 2011. He started his professional career with Coopers & Lybrand in 1994 and then joined Aseambankers Malaysia Berhad in 1996.

He then ventured into the property development sector in 2000 and managed the overall financial activities of Country Heights Holdings Berhad, starting off as the Group Financial Controller and subsequently as a Director and the Chief Financial Officer from October 2003 to March 2008. He was the Group Chief Financial Officer for OSK Holdings Berhad, OSK Property Holdings Berhad and OSK Ventures International Berhad prior to joining DRH.
