Malaysian Genomics to Distribute Genetic Screening Tests in Singapore

Group continues focus on diversifying access across geographical markets

PETALING JAYA (11 JULY  2023) Malaysian Genomics Resource Centre Berhad (“Malaysian Genomics” or “the Group”; Bursa: MGRC, 0155), a leading genomics and biopharmaceutical specialist, today announced that the Group’s wholly-owned subsidiary, MGRC Healthcare Sdn Bhd (“MGRC-H”), has entered into a supply agreement with DLF Engineering Pte Ltd (“DLF”) for the distribution of genetic screening tests and cell laboratory production services in Singapore.  

DLF is a diversified engineering services and trade distribution company with an integrated supply-chain network of private and public healthcare physicians, aesthetics and wellness centres, as well as insurance and employee-benefits providers in Singapore. MGRC-H is a genomics and biopharmaceutical specialist with a range of healthcare products including genetic screening tests, compounded supplements and cell laboratory production services for mesenchymal stem cells, NK cells, exosomes, and functional cosmeceuticals.

Malaysian Genomics had earlier, in May 2023, entered into a strategic cooperation agreement with Toticell Limited, a Dhaka, Bangladesh-based regenerative healthcare specialist focusing on treatments for musculoskeletal conditions such as arthritis, sports-related injuries and tendinopathies.
