The Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security has announced that they will be focusing on four dimensions of food security as defined by the Food and Agriculture Organisation, specifically: availability, access, utilisation, and, stability and sustainability. So we discuss these focus areas and how they could be applied to the Malaysian context, as well as what else needs to be done to bolster our food security.
