Crude futures settle lower
NEW YORK, Aug. 28 -- Oil prices fell on Wednesday.
The West Texas Intermediate for October delivery lost 1.01 U.S. dollars, or 1.34 percent, to settle at 74.52 dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for October delivery dropped 90 cents, or 1.13 percent, to settle at 78.65 dollars a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange.
