KUALA LUMPUR: Perikatan Nasional's Wan Ahmad Fayhsal Wan Ahmad Kamal today suggested that the Central Database Hub (Padu) be transferred to the Digital Ministry.

Wan Fayhsal (PN-Machang) said the move would allow Padu to be safely managed and earn the trust of Malaysians.

"I am worried (about issues surrounding Padu) and I suggest that it be transferred to the Digital Ministry as more people will participate (and register) if the ministry takes over the system.

"I also agree with the Johor State Assembly Speaker (Datuk Dr Puad Zarkashi) and I believe that people have no trust in Pandan (Rafizi Ramli).

"This is because he (Rafizi) is a data person and works with Invoke. We also know what he did in Julau during the PKR election previously," he said during the debate session for the Cybersecurity Bill 2024.

He said Rafizi, who is economy minister, was known as the "formula king" but his formulas were unsuccessful this time around.

Following this, Rafizi said Puad, who is an Umno Supreme Council member, would still be dissatisfied even if Malaysia became a rich country.

Rafizi added that Puad's attacks against him have always been personal.
