Mr Onn Kien Hoe (Mr Onn) is a partner with Crowe Malaysia PLT, an internationally affiliated accounting firm. His role includes acting as the Head of the Corporate Advisory Division of Crowe Malaysia. He is also a Director in Crowe (KH) Co., Ltd, where he is also responsible for the operations of Crowe in Cambodia. Mr Onn completed his professional qualification with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (U.K.) in 1988 and has been in the accounting profession since then. Mr Onn has extensive experience in the disciplines of audit, advisory and insolvency. He has participated in cross border transactions including mergers and acquisitions, listing, reverse takeovers, due diligence reviews and valuation assignments. His cross-border experience involves transactions on international stock exchanges including London, Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia, Cambodia and Malaysia. He has also been appointed as Special Administrator by Pengurusan Danaharta Nasional Berhad, Receiver and Manager, Judicial Manager and Liquidator over delinquent companies to administer them and where applicable, formulate restructuring plans to rehabilitate viable business. Mr Onn has served as an examiner for the Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants, a member of the Interpretation Committee of the Malaysian Accounting Standards Board and a member of the General Committee of Malaysian International Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Mr Onn currently sits on the Board of Zurich Life Insurance Malaysia Berhad as an independent director. His previous appointments as independent director of companies listed on Bursa Malaysia include, amongst others, Avillion Berhad (2016 to 2022), MAA Group Berhad (2012 to 2020) Nova MSC Berhad (2003 to 2018), Kian Joo Can Factory Bhd (2009 to 2013), Melewar Industrial Group Berhad (2007 to 2012) and M3nergy Berhad (2006 to 2011).
