Mr Tan holds a Bachelor of Accounting (Hons.) degree from University of Malaya. He is a member of the Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants and a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants.
Working Experience
Mr Tan was appointed the Chief Financial Officer of GENP on 1 January 2009. Prior to this appointment, he was the Senior Vice President-Corporate, in charge of corporate affairs and strategic planning, new projects and investments, as well as investor relations. He started his career with PricewaterhouseCoopers in 1991 and later joined Malaysia Mining Corporation Berhad as the Corporate Planner in 1995. He joined GENP in 1997.
