Datin Siah is in active legal practice since 1990. She has been appointed as the Managing Partner of a legal firm, Chee Siah Le Kee & Partners in Melaka since 2015. The firm has a staff force approximately 60 persons.
Her forte lies in the areas of the law relating to banking and securities, land, strata mixed development, corporate and business law.
She is the partner in charge of a strata mixed development in Melaka with a gross development value of over RM500 million and the team leader for all property developments undertaken by the Hatten Group in Melaka. Besides that, she also handle loan and security documentations for various banks in Malaysia.
Over the last 29 years, she has conducted numerous external legal training courses for various audiences as follows:-
(i)
Financial Institutions - on the topics "Law relating to lending and control" and "Common pitfalls relating to ending"
(ii) Bukit Aman Commercial Crime Division - a legal workshop under the auspices of Bar Council, Malaysia for senior police personnel.
(iii) Practising lawyers and pupils - on the topic "Un-standard Sale and Purchase Agreement" for Melaka Bar Committee.
(iv) Law students - a guest lecturer for final year law students of Multi Media University, Melaka.
Other than that, she was the past chairperson for the Conveyancing Practice Committee of Melaka Bar Committee in 2014. She has served and still serving as a sub-committee member in the Conveyancing Practice Committee of the Melaka Bar Committee for 2015 to 2018.
