Datuk Edward Lee Ming Foo was appointed as the Alternate Director to Mr Thomas Karl Rapp, the Managing Director on 1 February 2007. Prior to this, he was the Managing Director of the Company from 31 March 2005 until his relinquishment on 31 January 2007. Datuk first served on the Board of Malaysian Mosaics Berhad ["MMB"] as Alternate Director from 18 October 1995 to 25 February 1999 and subsequently became an Executive Director of MMB from 1 March 1999 to 31 December 2002. On 6 January 2003, Datuk was re-appointed to the Board as Alternate Director and was an Executive Director from 4 August 2004 up to his appointment as Managing Director on 31 March 2005. Datuk is presently the Managing Director of Hap Seng Consolidated Berhad and its 51.55% owned subsidiary, Hap Seng Plantations Holdings Berhad, both of which are companies listed on the Main Board of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad. He joined the MMB Group in 1980 and has held various senior management positions with the Group. He was promoted to General Manager - Trading Division in 1986. He was the Group Chief Operating Officer of MMB, a position he assumed since 1995 until his appointment as Managing Director on 31 March 2005.
