Working Experience
Ruben started his career as a trainee in Westports Malaysia Sdn Bhd ("WMSB") in 1999 before leaving WMSB to set up a Start-up incubator known as The Makmal Group in 2000 until his departure in mid-2005. He was then appointed to the Board of the Company in July 2005 and was designated as an Executive Director in early 2006 before being appointed as the Company's Chief Executive Officer on 15 January 2009 prior to this current redesignation.
Family Relationship
He is the eldest son of Westports Holdings Berhad's Executive Chairman, Tan Sri Datuk Gnanalingam a/l Gunanath Lingam.
