Graduated with a Degree in Bachelor of Accountancy (Honours) from University Putra Malaysia, Lim Bun Hwa (Lim) is also a graduate of the Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA) and a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants.

Upon graduation in year 1999, Lim worked in the audit firms. Thereafter, he joined the Corporate Finance team of CIMB Investment Bank Berhad and was involved in marketing, originating and implementing corporate proposals such as Initial Public Offering, Merger and Acquisition (M&A), joint venture, fund-raising, privatisation exercises and general financial advisory work. In year 2010, he joined a medical group where he is responsible for the medical group's corporate finance and accounts.
He currently provides consultancy services for public and non-public listed companies which intend to undertake IPO and also any corporate proposals which include M&A, take-over and fund raising.
