Working Experience
He began his career in the Hong Leong Group of Companies in Malaysia in 1978 as a member of the internal audit team. He later served in positions of Assistant Accountant, Accountant and Finance Manager at companies involved in industrial manufacturing, motorcycle assembly and marketing, building materials trading and stock-broking operations.
In 1990, he joined the Johan Holdings (and George Kent) Group of Companies where he began as Finance Manager. He was subsequently appointed General Manager, Executive Director and Managing Director at operating companies involved in charge card operations, ceramic tile manufacturing, solar water heater manufacturing and engineering services until his retirement in 2009.
Post retirement, he had served on contract with a health supplement marketing organization. Currently, he is on contract posting as General Manager and Director with a private company involved in the manufacture of chemicals.
