Mr. Leong is currently the managing director of a boutique management consultancy firm, specializing in corporate restructuring, internal auditing and risk management. He is a Chartered Accountant and was a Council Member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) for the year 2012/16. He is also an Associate Member of the Institute of Internal Auditors, Malaysia (IIAM).
Mr. Leong began his career in an audit firm and subsequently moved into various senior management capacity in both private and public listed companies in Malaysia, with businesses ranging from property management, main contractor, manufacturing, trading and quarrying.
