Tan Sri Datin Paduka Siti Sa'diah binti Sheikh Bakir (Tan Sri) is an Independent Non-Executive Director of KPJ Healthcare Berhad (KPJ), redesignated on 1 May 2015 from Non-Independent Non-Executive Director. Tan Sri served as the Managing Director of KPJ from 1 March 1993 until her retirement on 31 December 2012.
From 1 January 2013 until 31 December 2014, she served as KPJ's Corporate Advisor. She was the Chairman of KPJ Healthcare University College (KPJUC) between 1 August 2011 to 31 December 2016 and the Pro-Chancellor of KPJUC from August 2011 to 31 December 2018. She has been appointed as the Chancellor of KPJUC w.e.f 1 January 2019.
Her career with Johor Corporation (JCorp) commenced in 1974 and she has been directly involved in JCorp's Healthcare Division since 1978. She was appointed as the Chief Executive of Kumpulan Perubatan (Johor) Sdn. Bhd (KPJSB), from 1989 until the listing of KPJ in November 1994.
Committed to promoting excellence in healthcare, Tan Sri was the President of Malaysian Society for Quality in Health, the national accreditation body for healthcare services, elected since its inception in 1997 until her retirement in December 2018. She sits on many other councils and committees at the national level, including as a member of Leadership Development Committee of the Razak School of Government. She was appointed as a Director of Universiti Utara Malaysia(UUM), an eminent management university in Malaysia in January 2016 and as the Chairman of Board of UUM from June 2016 to September 2018. She is currently the Pro-Chancellor of Universiti Teknologi Malaysia since October 2016.
In 2010, Tan Sri was named the CEO of The Year 2009 by the New Straits Times Press and the American Express. She has received many more awards and accolades from 2011 to 2015, due to her contributions to the healthcare industry in Malaysia. She launched her biography entitled "Siti Sadiah: Driven by Vision, Mission and Passion" in 2013.
