He was appointed to the Board of HPI Resources Berhad ("HRB") in 1997 and subsequently promoted to his current position as Managing Director of HRB in 1999, overseeing the Group's packaging business. He is the Hononary Chairman of the Chinese Chamber of Commerce in Batu Pahat, Chairman of the Chinese Association in Parit Raja, Batu Pahat, Vice-Chairman of the Chinese Association in Johor State and Committee Member of the Malaysian Corrugated Carton Manufacturers' Association.
