Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Accountancy from University of New South Wales and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia, Malaysian Institute of Accountants and Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants

After his graduation, Mr. Ang Ah Soon @ Ang Weng Joo worked six (6) years in Chartered Accountants / International Accounting Firms in Australia and Malaysia, gaining wide ranging experiences in financial accounting, costing, taxation and auditing as well as good exposure in different businesses, industries, academic and cultural practices. Thereafter, he joined Perbadanan Bekalan Air Pulau Pinang Sdn. Bhd. (formerly known as PBA) as Head of Accounts/Finance Department until 2001. After the formation of PBA Holdings Bhd as a public limited company, he was appointed in 2001 as the Chief Financial Officer primarily responsible for the corporation's overall financial management and retired in 2003 after its successful listing on the Main Board of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad.
