He had served twenty seven (27) years in the Ministry of Human Resource. He retired optionally in December 1994 after holding the post as Deputy Director General of Industrial Relations, Malaysia. He was the Industrial Relations Adviser of Sime Darby Plantations, a division of Sime Darby Berhad from December 1994 to March 2000. He has also served as a Panel Member representing employers at the Industrial Court and at the Industrial Relations Panel with the Malaysian Employers Federation. He is now the Managing Consultant of Inforite IR Consultancy.
