He is the founding partner of Messrs. Zakaria-Lee and Partners Sdn Bhd, a Consultant Chartered Quantity Surveying Firm established in 1980. He is the Vice Chairman of the Commonwealth Association of Professional Centres, Past President of the Federation of Consultants from Islamic Countries (FCIC), President of Malaysian Service Providers Confederation (MSPC), Council member of National Professional Services Export Council (NAPSEC), MATRADE under the Ministry of International Trade and Industry.
