He was also both a Director and CEO of United Communication Industry PLC,Thailand, from 2005 to 2008. He served as the Deputy Minister (State Secretary) of Defence in Norway in 1993, and has held positions at the Norwegian Defence Research Establishment. He also held an associate position at the John F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University in the USA.
