She has more than 25 years' experience in banking and finance, covering the full spectrum of services which includes consumer, commercial and corporate banking, as well as the non-banking functions which include policy and control, human resources, corporate planning and finance. She started her career as a Management Trainee with Bank of Commerce Berhad in 1979 and left the Bank in 2005 after its merger with CIMB Bank Berhad. Her last appointment at the Bank was as the Senior Executive Vice-President heading the Banking Unit, responsible for Retail Banking, Business Banking, Corporate Banking, Treasury and International Banking. Puan Rosnah was appointed as an Independent Non-Executive Director of CIMB Bank Berhad effective 19 January 2012. She is also a member of the Risk Committee of CIMB Bank Berhad.
