Ms. Hon is currently the Managing Director of Academia Management and Consultancy Sdn Bhd (AMC). Her responsibilities are to oversees and manages the business development and operations in AMC. She also involved in strategic planning of AMC's related companies and research projects in social science.
Ms. Hon has more than twenty years of working experience in several industries. Starting from an accountancy background, she gained corporate experience in finance, human resource, and marketing, with administrative, managerial responsibilities and representative of the company proposed for Initial Public Offer (pre-propose for IPO) for listing on Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad. She also gained experience in the educational industry, lecture accounting and international business subjects and supervision of thesis for undergraduate and post-graduate programs. She was the head of the Centre for Business Programmes and lecturer at HELP College Technology and Arts and a part-time lecturer at Mahsa University. She has also worked in China where she provided advisory services to a company in Beijing to structure the operational framework and policies as part of its initial proposed listing exercise.
