Mr Ng Ah Chai was involved in the timber and saw milling businesses since 1985. Thereafter, he expanded his business to manufacturing tropical wood furniture for the local market. In 1993, he ceased the saw milling business and co-founded Seng Yip Furniture Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company, which started as a kiln dry and timber processing business. In 1998, he ventured further into finished rubberwood furniture.He joined the Board as an Executive Director in February 2001 and was subsequently redesignated Group Managing Director in August 2003
