Datuk Wira Roslan AB Rahman began his career with Lembaga Letrik Negara as Consumer Engineer in 1980 and had held various management positions until his retirement as Chief Regulatory and Stakeholder Management Officer of Tenaga Nasional Berhad ("TNB") in December 2022. Throughout his 42 years of service with TNB, he held various management positions from the technical and commercial portfolio of the national utility company.
As an engineer with extensive experience in the electricity supply industry, Datuk Wira Roslan's passion has always been to contribute towards nation building and the betterment of the society. He has served in several districts throughout the country. Datuk Wira Roslan was the spokesperson for TNB while serving as the Chief Corporate Officer. His major role was to monitor and advise the Chief Executive Officer and Board of Directors on corporate communication related matters.
In the international front, Datuk Wira Roslan represented TNB in various capacities as Country Coordinator in Head of ASEAN Power Utility (HAPUA) and Association of Energy Supply Industry of East Asia and Asia Pacific (AESIEAP).
Among the various positions held throughout his career in TNB are as follows:
- General Manager (Customer Service) from 2005 to 2009.
- Senior General Manager Operations Region II from 2009 to 2012.
- Chief Corporate Officer from 2012 to 2019.
- Chief Regulatory and Stakeholder Management Officer from 2019 to 2022.
