Tunku Naquiyuddin, a former diplomat, is presently the Chairman of Sino Hua-An International Berhad (the first Malaysian cross border China listing) which was listed on the Malaysian Stock Exchange on 26 March 2007. He is also the Executive Chairman of Jimah Energy Ventures Sdn Bhd which is developing a 1400MW power plant in Negeri Sembilan. He is a keen environmentalist and was a Committee Member of the World Wide Fund for Nature (Malaysia) and a Council Member of the Business Council for Sustainable Development in Malaysia. An active businessman, Tunku Naquiyuddin's interest spanned a broad spectrum uniting the Malaysian public companies through the Federation of Public Listed Companies Bhd which he founded; bridging bilateral boundaries through the Malaysia-France Economic and Trade Association which he headed for 8 years; and forging closer cultural ties through the Alliance Francaise which he headed for 18 years. He was nominated by the Minister of Finance to sit on the Committee of Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange in 1989 for 5 years. He was Regent of the State of Negeri Sembilan from 1994 until April 1999.
