Y.B. Dato' Alizatul is the Penang State Legal Adviser and was appointed to this position on 1 October 1995. Y.B. Dato' Alizatul started her career in the civil service in 1976 as Legal Officer and was transferred to various High Courts as Senior Assistant Registrar, prior to further studies in 1981. She held various positions in the legal and judicial services before her appointment to the current position in 1995. Y.B. Dato' Alizatul is also an ex-officio member of the Penang State EXCO.
