2010 - present
- Founded Messrs. Masleena, Yee & Partners on 1 January 2010, a boutique firm that provides tailor made solutions to its clients that have now grown to 4 partners that provide diversified advisory services and legal representations in civil, criminal, industrial and shariah court.
- Specializes in the area of capital market, trust law, corporate and commercial as well as start-ups businesses.
2008 - 2009
- Joined Companies Commission of Malaysia as the Head of Interest Scheme.
- Responsible for the direction of Interest Scheme Industry and to promote alternative fund raising activities under the ambit of the Registrar of Companies.
- Participated in the issuance of several policy requirements aand guidelines of the Companies Commission of Malaysia.
- Led the Insolvency Unit by overseeing the process of winding-up and developed policies on the area as well as work collaboratively with other agencies such as Jabatan Insolvensi Malaysia.
- Conducted training on companies law and educate public perception on Interest Scheme industry.
2001 - 2008
- Commenced career with the Securities Commission of Malaysia as a prosecuting officer.
- Acted as principal prosecutor in various cases prosecuted under the then Securities Industry Act.
- Assisted Deputy Public Prosecutors in penal offences and Federal Counsels in judicial review application.
- Involved in the drafting and amending policies of several Acts jointly with other regulators.
