She graduated from International Islamic University of Malaya in 1993 with a degree in Bachelor of Laws (Hons) (2nd Upper). Subsequently, she obtained Diploma in Translation (Legal Text, etc) (Disnc) from Institut Terjemahan Negara Malaysia (ITNM) in 1998.
Working Experience
In 1993, she was employed as a Legal Assistant at Messrs H.S. Lim & Malek. She joined Silver Ridge Sdn. Bhd. as a Legal Adviser in 1994. She is a Founder/Managing Partner of Messrs Khalek Awang & Associates, a legal firm which was set up in 1998 wherein her areas of practice covers Corporate, Commercial and Business Contracts, Propertym Real Estate and Conveyancing, Corporate and Consumer/Retail Banking (Conventional & Islamic), Broadcasting, ICT, Multimedia, and Company Secretarial Practices.
Family Relationship
She is the niece of Dato' Mohd Suhaimi Bin Abdullah, the Managing Director and substantial shareholder of the Company.
